Education Search Service (ESS)

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) does not offer initial education and training to become a coach (we only offer professional development for practiced coaches). As the accrediting body for coach-specific education and accredited providers, we cannot recommend any specific coaching education organizations.

To ensure quality education, ICF accredits coaching education organizations that meet the high standards set forth by ICF and ICF Coaching Education. To find ICF-Accredited Providers we suggest that you use our Education Search Service (ESS) below. The search for a coach education program is a highly individual process that depends greatly on your personal preferences and goals. The ESS is designed to give you basic information about all ICF-Accredited Education Providers.

Program Name: Fundamental Coach Training Program (FCT)
Program Type: Expired
Program Hours: 60.00
Organization Description:
FCA was established by Taymour Miri (MCC) in 2013 as the first professional coach training academy for Farsi speakers around the world. We believe that everyone has their unique and special talents to create their best lives and is further fulfilled by supporting others to create their own.

Our mission is to empower the community to find their passion and build the required skills to make a positive impact in their own lives and in the lives of others. Also, to provide a platform for professionals to learn, share and grow in a community that serves both their personal and professional lives.

FCA is committed to educate coaches to reach the highest international standards and if they have a mission to create a business as a professional coach, we provide the content, support and platform to assist them to start and build their coaching business. The faculty members and the operational team go through a rigorous continuous development program and are coached and mentored through their journey in alignment with our five core values: Integrity, Responsibility, Customer Service and Strength-based Team Work and Progress.
Program Description:
The program content is part of the 295 hours Level 2 covering 60 hours of training and the modules cover ICF coach competencies and are complemented with exercises, off-line content including articles to enhance the learning journey and gives you the flexibility to learn more in your own time.

This will also provide more opportunity and time to practice what you have learned with the trainers and mentors' presence and receive valuable feedback.

The learning journey is structured so that students have adequate tools and confidence to apply the skills outside in the home and work environments throughout the program and are encouraged to start their coaching practice from the start. The business development of the program will cover areas such as starting up your coaching practice including closing a coaching agreement. Through the program you will work with at least one client for 12 hours as part of practical experience in starting up your coaching practice.

Each student is encouraged to explore their own coaching style and work with fellow peer coaches throughout the program to enhance their coaching skills.

At the end of the training each person can go on to register for mentor coaching to follow the ICF path in becoming a credentialed associate certified coach with ICF or they can continue with the professional program and complete the Level 1 or Level 2 training structure reaching associate or professional coach status.

There is an online community supporting one another on the learning journey. In addition all students give and receive 12 hours coaching from fellow students when starting the program to understand the impact of coaching.
There is a support system within the student community for those starting the program and want to quickly settle in and benefit most from the training environment. Furthermore there is access to over 100 written, video and voice as complementary content at a touch of a button.
All of the students are invited to join the free Alumni community where they are supported to further develop their coaching skills.
