Training Program Search Service (TPSS)
ICF does not offer training for becoming a coach. (We do offer professional development for practiced coaches.) As the accrediting body, we cannot recommend any specific training programs.
To ensure quality training, the International Coach Federation (ICF) accredits coach-training programs that meet its high standards. To find ICF-accredited programs, we suggest that you use our Training Program Search Service (TPSS) below. The search for a coach-training program is a highly individual process which depends greatly on your personal preferences and goals. The TPSS is designed to give you basic information about all ICF-accredited programs.
For further information, please contact this training organization rather than
the ICF office. The ICF recommends all approved programs equally and cannot
recommend one program over another.

||Authentic Leadership Coaching Certification (CALC)
||RALEIGH COACHING ACADEMY (a sub-brand of RALEIGH COACHING, LLC) is a coach specific training aligned with the International Coach Federation's ethical and training guidelines. The full certification program is focused on Authentic Leadership and prepares participants for the ICF credentialing process.
The mission of RCA is to help foster coaches who are passionate, driven and capable of positively transforming the world around us through their authentically inspired practice.
Raleigh Coaching Academy’s guiding principles for learning are:
* Dynamic * Organic * Inspired *
Dynamic: RCA honors the individual uniqueness that each student brings to the group, which contributes to creating the overall class dynamic.
Organic: RCA respects the power of each student’s perspective and contribution to the class discussion, and facilitates a structured yet organic flow of collaborative learning.
Inspired: RCA believes that individuals are more likely to push themselves to succeed when they achieve a sense of inspiration. We foster an atmosphere designed to encourage inspired individual learning.
The Right Fit
One of the biggest challenges aspiring coaches face in choosing the right coach training program is being sure that the curriculum’s focus will be aligned with the type of coaching they wish to offer. Raleigh Coaching Academy was created with this in mind.
Intimate Class Size
RCA limits each cohort to a maximum of 8 students in order to ensure that every student receives the time and attention necessary to be transformed in the course of the training.
We pride ourselves on being anti-PowerPoint! Each session begins with an overview and explanation of that module’s lesson, followed by interactive discussion of real-life scenarios that illustrate the topic. Class consists of a mixture of thought-provoking and fun experiential exercises, as well as in-class practice coaching, designed to solidify an individual and group understanding of the material covered.
Raleigh Coaching Academy’s Authentic Leadership Coaching Certification (CALC) program is recognized by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as Approved Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH), which provides students with 125 training hours towards obtaining their ICF credential.
