Training Program Search Service (TPSS)

ICF does not offer training for becoming a coach. (We do offer professional development for practiced coaches.) As the accrediting body, we cannot recommend any specific training programs.

To ensure quality training, the International Coach Federation (ICF) accredits coach-training programs that meet its high standards. To find ICF-accredited programs, we suggest that you use our Training Program Search Service (TPSS) below. The search for a coach-training program is a highly individual process which depends greatly on your personal preferences and goals. The TPSS is designed to give you basic information about all ICF-accredited programs.

NATIONALLY CERTIFIED RECOVERY COACH™ TRAINING LEVELS I AND II (NCRC I AND NCRC II)
Recovery Coach TrainingOur comprehensive Professional Recovery Coach Certification and Training Program will teach you how to handle clients that are looking for help from drug addiction and alcohol addiction. A Recovery Coach’s function is to assist a client with Substance Use Disorder in finding the appropriate path to sobriety. A Recovery Coach sets the parameters of the conversation, listens and contributes observations and questions, provides a roadmap for success, and assists the client as a team to achieve their desired goals. An action-based Recovery Coach accelerates the client’s progress by providing greater focus and awareness of choices, actions, and responsibility.

Recovery Coaching concentrates on meeting the client where they are now, where they want to be, and holding them accountable as a team to get there. A professional coaching certification will enhance your marketability and allow you to offer your clients the best services possible. We are the global leader in addiction recovery coach training and certification and the only Recovery Coach Academy to offer two levels of recovery coach training.
