Training Program Search Service (TPSS)
ICF does not offer training for becoming a coach. (We do offer professional development for practiced coaches.) As the accrediting body, we cannot recommend any specific training programs.
To ensure quality training, the International Coach Federation (ICF) accredits coach-training programs that meet its high standards. To find ICF-accredited programs, we suggest that you use our Training Program Search Service (TPSS) below. The search for a coach-training program is a highly individual process which depends greatly on your personal preferences and goals. The TPSS is designed to give you basic information about all ICF-accredited programs.
For further information, please contact this training organization rather than
the ICF office. The ICF recommends all approved programs equally and cannot
recommend one program over another.

The Say Life!™ Coach Institute is delivered in the Blended Learning format. The majority features synchronous learning with a portion of asynchronous learning/practicum. The Say Life!™ Coach Institute is a 12-hour program that lasts four and a half weeks long and is delivered via videoconferencing platform, Zoom, and phone. The program consists of five 2-hour classes once a week. Four classes are centered on the Core Competencies (CC) and one class is focused on business/Resource Development (RD.)
Toward the end of the course, participants must complete an hour's worth of coaching practicum outside of class (two 30-minute practice sessions.) Students MUST obtain "client" permission to record and/or take notes during the practice session. The participant will be responsible for recording or producing those notes, and a 1-hour 1:1 critique with the instructor will be rendered on the participant's coaching technique.
The final class meeting will focus on business building and resource development. The goal is to discuss how to further determine one's niche, marketing tactics, and steps to get started in business and/or independent contracting as soon as desired.
At the completion of the program, participants will receive a Coaching Foundations Certificate and will be a part of the Say Life!™ Coach Network.
